Hello! I'm Leah

I’m a product designer working remotely in Brooklyn, New York. Currently designing @ The Knot, making free planning tools for engaged couples.

Before product design, I created paintings and sculptures for the renowned artist Jeff Koons. In fine art, all is subjective. The utility of product design, and the objectivity of whether a product or feature is meeting the needs of the user satisfies my analytical, problem solving nature. I love making tools for real people, something that's accessible and provides a service - and when we can add a fun, engaging look and feel to the experience? That’s when the work gets interesting.

Outside of work, I get jazzed on interior design, scifi, travel, spending time in nature, cooking and fashion. I think a lot about how to be a better human and creating community in an increasingly isolated world.
